Jay Lutsch, the newly named President/CEO, is delighted for Avakai to begin planting their roots in Windsor, especially with the downtown core’s prestigious Canada Building at 374 Ouellette, which is currently undergoing extensive renovations, becoming their new home. Previously owning a smaller company in the same field, Lutsch brings with him years of experience, even working within the industry before that. “Avakai is a corporation focused on the management of commercial janitorial, and landscape contracts across North America,” Lutsch explains.
Avakai brings something different to their industry, and that is the use of leading edge software, which allows for their clients to view real-time insights of properties, tasks, schedules, maintenance, and more. Not only does this offer Windsor a new opportunity in commercial property management and janitorial services, but the move is soon to generate several new jobs for the community.
